Lake Park High School District 108

Learning Together for Success

Special Education Programs & Related Services

Lake Park High School’s philosophy is to provide an Individualized Education Program (IEP) for each student in the appropriate environment.  Access to all special education programs is through a formal professional team evaluation process.  The evaluation team determines individual goals and recommendations for eligible special education students.  Each student’s program is based on individual student needs.

Once a student is identified as eligible for special education services, the school district provides a free and appropriate public education that emphasizes special education and related services designated to meet the student’s needs and prepare the student for opportunities after high school.
